Put it on a 1436 and hold on tight. Just make sure you have the bitch running when you drop it off the trailer. |

Wish I could afford to take it off your hands... I would go with a tunnel, regardless of size. |

I got a 40hp yam on a 1448,(bad idea, but it will take off like ur ex wife with your paycheck) and hits about every 10 feet in a good chop. So listen to the others when they say, 16'+ or plan on welding on a weekly basis. |

I used to have a 50 four stroke on a 1756 mod-v G3 and it would run high 30's with 2 ppl in it. And this was a heavy boat. I think it was a good combination. |

A friend has a 1242 w/ a 40 yamaha. It's fast, but seems to be stable. I would get at least a 1648 for a 50. |

i had one on 1648 war eagle that would make you wanna put a seat belt on. it ran like a monkey with its azz on fire. This one did 41mph with a Powertech 14p out of the box. And still ran mid to high 30's with a real good load. It was a 2008 Tohatsu TLDI. |

I ran a 50 merc 2 stroke on a 1754 and it ran maybe mid 30's at most. I would say 32 constantly. The boat was a semi-v and it was a open floor plan. Had plenty of room and it was easy to fish and hunt out of. I wouldn't go any smaller , and would prolly go a foot longer if I had the choice. |
