That looks like camp on Davis Island. Its just damned lazy that those tractors weren't pulled out of there. Somebody must be filthy rich and just don't give a damn.

as long as the water doesnt get in the cab i bet the insureance will just service the rig and roll with it.....we have swamped many of small tractors and just drained the oil like a 4 wheeler and rolled with it.

i call it "ringing the dinner bell"

These guys are not just going to use it as a write off because that has them down waiting till they can get more equipment. My uncle had to move 12 combines up onto the levee and they still have water around them there is no high ground in the delta incase you didnt get that memo.

Heartbreaking is what I call that photo. Deer can swim or run for miles in stuff like that, but it taxes the he'll out of them. Also, alot of does are late in their pregnancy right now and will be ready to drop soon. They should be eating and resting but instead they are fighting for their life.

As for the equipment I would agree with something along the lines of what Brooks is saying. There was a plan in place and this couldn't have been the desired outcome.

If the pic is actually true (you know the internet), Google Earth puts Stubbs Island just West of Tunica, MS right next to the river and an old Oxbow Lake from the old river path. So to see that much water is not out of the question.
