You sure it's the "aluminum boat paint"? The no primer needed stuff? If so, that is a great price. That is closer to the stuff that needs a primer. |

You say the paint with the primer. Does that mean it needs the primer or not? The aluminum boat paint doesn't have primer in it, it just doesn't need it. |

Yes, I just paid like 175 bucks for two gallons. If that is the right stuff, that is one helluva deal!!!! The price is right in line for a decent mark up on the duralux that needs a primer. |

We used to sell it at a place I worked and it was way cheaper than what y'all are paying but that was 20+ years ago. I'll call a guy I know tomorrow an see what he's selling it for. |

Duralux makes several different paints. (as most companies do) The M736 that is the "Aluminum Boat Paint Green" is the one where you do not have to use a primer. It is $79 a gallon and I would be very surprised if you found it much cheaper than that. It only comes in the one color. They ALSO make a Duralux "Camouflage Paint" which is different and REQUIRES a primer base. It is $39 a gallon (but you can get on sale right now for $27). It comes in 3 different color options. The M736 is the one that some of the boat builders use. If you buy the cheaper one, you need to prime it (which is $17 a quart): Aluminum: Pretreat with suitable wash primer. Apply one coat of Duralux Zinc Chromate M739, Top with two full coats of Duralux Camo Paint. |

No sorry but thats what I checked on Aluminum boat green and 39 is the price. Asked Chris and that was the paint with the primer included. He is a commercial marine and oil field supply shop. Like I said I know we used to sell it cheaper. Give them a call 504-682-3358 ask for Chris or James. My pecker is still in good order. |

I remeber buying M736 b4 katrina at that price ($40). After that it was hard to find and more expensive when I did find it. |

It's the m736. I will check the price again but I know it's close to 50$ |
