How wide is the bottom, in inches...

Ive seen people call a 42" bottom extra wide.

The boat should be big enough to float a 27, maybe even a light 35.

You may have to brace the transom stronger, and dependin on the conditions you run in a rivited boat may get beat to hell, but I belive its got the right demensions to float a 27.

i was lucky this year almost everyday we went out it wasnt that rough but we did miss a couple days when the wind was blowing out the northeast. I only go across the bay when its not real windy and we have good numbers at the draw.
