Before getting on the www bad mouthing the warranty, you should call the factory.

Seems any Briggs dealer should be of assistance.

You NEED to call Kyle at Gator tail. He is a great guy and they are about customer service.

Calvin call Kyle or Hoyt and drag it over there. If you bought it in 09 it should still be under a briggs warranty

While I respect the fact that you returned to your dealer for service, it sounds like you should try to deal directly with Gator Tail. They will be the ones who have to deal with Briggs on the engine warranty, and will be able to get you back up & running sooner. Not sure when your season ended, but mine ended 2 months ago. I would've already been to Loreauville if it were me.

Seems like you have a right to be disapointed - if the dealer
who sold you the rig is not taking care of you....

Go over his head to the factory like others have said...

Don't let your warranty expire without getting it resolved
one way or another....

And realize that no one likes to work on these motors because Briggs warranty does not pay anything to do so.

Just a nother note if you think your gonna bring your motor to a lawn mower dealer to get warranty work its now grass cutting season they dont want shit to do with us now!!

First off ..... it should read "thier" and not "there" .....

Secondly ..... you typed that it is now at a Gator-Tail Dealer .... Not at Gator-Tail's shop .... right ???? Ifin' thats the truff ..... yore dealer ain't doin' right and you should go ahead and calls the folks down at Gator-Tail and politely 'splain yore situation and I'm shore thay will sho-nuff do the rite thang.

Who is the dealer? Get your shit straight before you start throwing rocks at GT. GT went above and beyond when I had an issue under warranty so it sounds like your dealer is a crock of shit and your a shit head. Sometimes it's better to think before you open your pie hole. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted on who took care of you 

Just as everyone else has said, call Gator-Tail and let them know whats goin on. 1 of 2 things is going to happen, Gator-Tail is going to call that dealership and tell them to STFU and fix it, or Gator-Tail is going to tell you to bring it in to the shop and they will take care of you.

GT is taking care of my trim problem for me with no problems. I will say tho that they are not the fastest but i cant gripe to much. Good luck with your issue.

OK I TALKED TO GATORTAIL. THEY GONNA FIX MY TRIM AND A FEW OTHER THINGS AND HELP WITH SOME OF THE PARTS BUT THEY SAYING THE SAME THING THAT BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT IT CAN'T BE COVERED. SO THAT MEANS I HAVE TO PAY ALL THE LABOR AT THERIOITS WHERE I BOUGHT IT FROM. THIS IS WHAT I THINK THEY PUT OUT HUNDREDS OF MOTORS AND JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT I GET STUCK SPENDING ALL THIS MONEY ON A NEW MOTOR. THE REASON I BUY NEW SHIT IS WHERE I'M NOT BUYING AS IS. IT'S LIKE I BOUGHT A USED MOTOR WITH NO WARRANTY. LOOK THEY ARE HELPING OUT A LITTLE AND IT IS BETTER THAN NOTHING BUT I DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PARTS ON THE MOTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
