not my boat & don't know the seller - just thought this was an interesting design / new to me, though somewhat like a "regular" inboard mud boat: navy work boat perfect for swamp gator hunting - $15000 (s.a.) |

Looks like the mullet boats they used down here in Fla before the net ban. Though most of them were built out of wood and had a 40-70hp motor. They could really run shallow. |

Whats the pourpose of having the motor located where it is? It's got to be noisy and smell like exhaust fumes where the driver is? |

I rode in at least one, that I can remember, back when I was livin' in FL. Like BBB said, those guys used em for netting mullet. They were all over the place down there. |

The point is the motor is away from the area where they work the nets (out the back) |

Keeps the nets from going in the prop |

Yall missed the funny part. Idiot says its solid steel and will tow 20 tons. I bet ol Troy could use that to haul all those gators out the swamp. ![]() |

The motor is more or less pulling the boat instead of pushing it. It can get on plane if it can float. The boat doesn't have 2 push up over the bow wave to get on plane. Pretty neat design. |
