Anyone ever use an aluminum oxide cleaner/polish to clean up a motor block that has been oxidized? Would something like blue magic work?

If it wasn't polished aluminum to start then it won't do you much good. Whats the condition of it?

Anodized aluminum? Like the kind on nice t-tops? Best product is AlumaGuard.

Restore would probably be a better word than "polish." Just wanted to get the block in a condition similar to the one from the factory and get rid of all the white oxidation on it from being stored outside.
