Hey ya'll, I was just wondering if anyone on here is from jersey or has been to jersey with a MM. Reason Im asking is Ive been watching every video I can about MMs and the mud I encounter in jersey looks worse then anything Ive seen before. Now I got family down south and have seen how thick that mud is, but here in jersey, id swear its thicker. This past year I was hunting on the salem river, jumped out of my boat and sank almost to the top of my waders. It took me over 30 mins to crawl back into my boat. Heres a pic of the salem river. What Im wondering is how mud motors would do in mud like this. |

Only thing they don't like much of is sand and rocks. Will wear a porp quick. Should do just fine there. Only thing us southerners know about Jersy is we don't want to go there. ![]() ![]() |

Poker, South Jersey is a totally different place than up by "the city". The pine barrens are wild- woolly places. Nice country really. Plus, there is an actual place up there called Assunpink. WTF ![]() |

Poker, I love the south, but jersey is pretty cool. It has more public hunting acreage per hunter then any other state. Alot of that land is marsh. I mean from the north end of the delaware bay all the way to the southern tip of jersey is public. That stretch is almost 70 miles long. It also has just about every species of duck or goose that fly north. The tukey population is ridculous. Plus the country people got a slight southern drawl and are some of the nicest people Ive ever met, just like my families town in southern Va. So anyone from the northern east coast on here? |

Actually looks pretty cool. I saw a duck huntin show awhile back and in the background was the big city skyline somewhere on the east coast. Good place to hide all those bodies anyway. ![]() |

I'm from Central New York. Never been to Jersey. MM's will work on our mud just as well as southern mud. Do well in the cold too. Stay away from flow-ice with them. Figured I'd post this too. http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/ ... r/1099542/ |
