Is there a fuse somewhere on the trim? Mine just decided to stop workin.
I have 2 switches and changed em out and neither one of them worked.

Check the 3 wires going into the motor.

 Re: Hyd. Trim on PD
I took my test light and tested for constant power and had it. Pushed up on the switch and the top post got hot. Pushed down on the switch and the bottom post got hot. Checked the 3 wires going into the motor and the black had no power (didnt think it would but I checked) On the other 2 when I pushed the switch up one had power and when I pushed the switch down the other had power.
Im thinking the pump is bad.
Any other ideas? Is there a reset on the motor somewhere?

 Re: Hyd. Trim on PD
Check the wires where they go into the trim motor. Mine went out due to a wire break right at the pump. Wires were a little to short and the constant pulling on the wires finally did them in. PD rewired the pump with long leads and no more trouble. Wire actually broke inside the rubber gromet in the housing.

Why could you not still ride? If the hydraulics go out does the ratchet thing not work either?
