Post Two Gator-Tail Rigs Stolen from Delacroix
I'm in the process of gathering up more info to post like pictures & registration numbers but I wanted to put this out ASAP. Two of my friends had their entire rigs stolen from Fred Dietz's place in Delacroix sometime over the split. They were both parked right to the north of Fred's camp in his parking area/field about a third of the way towards the back. This area is directly between the two marina's in Delacroix, Sweetwater & Serigne's. If anyone knows of business or building with a road facing security camera anywhere along the highway from Delacroix to Chalmette, please let me know.

Here are the descriptions of the boats from what I can remember:

- 2010 (possibly 2011 model?) 17x54 Gatortail Xtreme with a stock 35GTR, huntdeck and fastgrass blind. This boat was bought brand new in September of last year. It is still pretty clean and looks fairly new. They had camo paint done by I think either GT or Ricky. It just always looked light grey but that's probably because I never paid attention.

(Edited: I had this one as 1846 originally but now I seem to think it was 40 inches)
- 18x40 Gatortail boat with a stock 35GTR, huntdeck & fastgrass blind. It might have the aluminum clutch cover because I remember them burning one up, just can't remember if they upgraded. I think it was bought sometime around 2007, maybe 2006. So this boat is older than the first, has more dents & dings and was in full hunting mode so the floor's probably a mess. I've included a bad picture of it below because that's all I could find right now.

I'll update this as I receive more info. I would appreciate it if y'all could please keep your eyes & ears open for anything on this. They had to have some balls to steal two boats but that doesn't mean they're smart enough to get away with it. I've heard of some stolen rigs being recovered lately just because someone happen to spot it driving around. Thanks for any help y'all can give.

Wilson, pm me the owners names and I'll see if I still have their info on file (serial #'s, registration #'s, etc). I know I serviced at least one (if not both) of them before this season.

Heard about this today from a buddy of mine with a camp up the road a little ways. That sucks.
