I got a buddy I work with that is set on getting a GTR23. Reason for the 23 is so he's not breaking the law of hunting/fishing in the WMA here.

Can a customer get a better deal driving to the shop and getting one directly for GT or is the price the same everywhere no matter where you buy one?

Typically its the same price whether it comes straight from the manufacturer or from a dealer. I bought a 23GDSD from Dagate's for the same price that Go-Devil had listed, and I bought my 36PD from H&H for only $55 more than Pro-Drive's list price. The only difference may be that the manufacturers would have a little more knowledge and could probably answer certain questions better than some of the other dealers would, but as for price its pretty much same/same.

The manufacture isn't going to step on their dealers' toes, so they are pretty much gonna sell everything at full retail. Some dealers will jack prices up if they have a high demand. Likewise, if they have been sitting on a motor or boat for a while, they might be willing to negotiate a little.

Maybe They should ask gator tail why they can void a warranty from using the reverse plate like the ones they sell?? They are to close to the prop and cause vibrations from the water hitting them. which can cause vibration through the frame. Causing parts to crack.
