Post ROCK GUARD?
Just sittin around wondering.
Does anyone have pictures,or info./opinions about PD-ROCK GUARD($250).
Wondering if it would help protect prop from stumps.
My needs-50%H2O-30% mud/weeds-15% stumps-5% sand/DIRT.
What kind of pros-or-cons :?: ?

Will lose some top speed, get some increase in take off time and increase some weed gathering capability. It would be a very specific application, I believe, to actually need one. Usually, if you are hitting rocks with the prop.......the bottom of the boat is also (bad thing, if they are sharp ones). The stump hits don't hurt most props, unless you catch a blade just right when 4x4'ing over crap.

Hey , all good info. Just curious!
Hey RC is that picture of PD Rock Guard?
Hey Deadbird, I recently put Steelflex Superslick on bottom of my Excel, I don`t hardly feel stumps through boat, just when I catch a stump slightly of center of the skeg. Ouch! I still ain`t over the days of replacing bent prop shafts, bent or broke props on Outboards.

Yes, PD rock guard. It could be easily modified to run two less guard skegs, never tried it though.
