U shouldn't have any problems finding reds in those spots. We fished Cocodre a bunch and shot an a$$ load of black drum there also. I think you may have to run a little further in Lafitte to find 'em, but shoudn't be a prob in that rig. Be sure to post some reports...

Been to lafitte a couple of times. Did well, but a further run. Hate making the night run down the main canal during shrimp season.
Lots of big boat with big waves.

we made 6 more trips with 5-3 man limits and 1-4 man limit.

I have a friend that has asking me to take him bowfishing for awhile. He has a nice lease by Chef Pass that would be an easy run and should have plenty of fish. I've only fished it during the day but we usually catch fish and the water should be plenty clear enough to bowfish.

Maybe we can all hook up one night and fish. Either together or in separate boats.

Count me in on a chef pass trip if you have fish. FYI, I bowfished the rigoletes last sat night in the Ft. Pike area and almost got skunked. We shot a red ane one flounder. There is just no fish in that spot. It was my first time fishing the area....Closest spot from the house. A old timer in the know said that they will be there in the fall.
