 Re: mudbuddy gun bag
I recently ordered some stuff from MB- a gas tank cover and 2 gunnel mounted decoy bags, so no real experience with the gun sleeve...
anyway, the stuff I bought seemed to be well constructed but the inconsistency was a little disturbing. The 2 decoy bags I bought were entirely different. One of them had a mesh floor, the other had a mesh floor and sides and were made with different strap/buckle quantity and designs. No biggie, I guess but I also wasnt too impressed with the customer service. I ordered the stuff from them and didnt get any kind of confirmation so I waited a couple days and called. The first day I got no answer or returned call. The second day, I talked who a guy who told me my order hadnt been processed becuase he had taken some time off. He then told me there would be no confirmation of shipping or anything and that if I didnt have the stuff in a week or so to call back. Again, I got the stuff but I expected a little more professionalism I guess.

 Re: mudbuddy gun bag
I just use a Drake floating gun case when Im running. I dont know why I bought it. I have yet to even have the gun fly up off the floor. I did leave it in the case for 2 weeks when I got home one time not thinking ---- yea -- gotta love a rusty shotgun

 Re: mudbuddy gun bag
My guns ride in floating cases. I took a couple web straps and attached to the gunnels making a loop. Just slide the guns, in cases, through the loops and they hang against the side on the boat and off the floor. Same concept but cost only a couple bucks.

 Re: mudbuddy gun bag
Mines going on it's second season this year. Left in the boat since the day I installed it with no rot problems. Holds the guns really nice. Keeps em off the floor, out of all the dog slopp. Dam nice addition in my opinion.

 Re: mudbuddy gun bag
I used the MB gun sleeve last season and love it. The construction was very good and the customer service was crap but I got my products in a timely manner and ------------then got the same damn things I ordered again a week later. Yep, they shipped me everything twice but only billed me once. I was the good guy and called them about 3 weeks later to tell them about their screw up and they did not even say thanks.
Anyway, I use a drake floating gun case and put the whole thing in the MB sleeve when we leave the house and even going 75mph down the hwy my sbe 2 is safe and sound. Get one, you might get lucky and get 2. Either way, you'll love it.
