I was talking to boat dr (Andy) today and he was saying that there is a new high rev coil that some mm companies are getting on the new b&s motors.. Andy correct me if I'm quoting you wrong. My question is does anybody know if new 2013 gator tails will be equipped with these coils off the assembly line? |

I've got a 2012 GTR and I thought the stock coils were limited to like 4300 but I've seen a bit over that in the mud without hitting a limiter |

about midway through 2012 they started putting 4700 in all the cdi motors. my buddy has a 2012 and has the 4300... missed it by like 2 weeks |

Cool so by adding the mikuni to my stage one mods I would essentially have a stage 2 motor.. From what I see that's what most people consider stage two. I.e. cam, heads, exhaust, carb, and high rev coils. |
