 rules on huntin nutria in setx and la Im tryin to get info on huntin nutria in la and setx. Any one know rules and regs. For both states. I cant seem ti find em.

I think you can shoot em from October 1 to feb 28 with just a regular hunting license on private lands if you have trapping rights or rights to hunt it or on management areas. Trappers license maybe sept 1 to march 31 I'm not sure. I think you Oughta be able to shoot them bastards all year day or night no limits.

to do the tails you have to sign up for it under land that you have the trapping rights for... and you can only do it on that land

Re: rules on huntin nutria in setx and la I wasnt sure the rules. I was in the marsh this mornin and could of got a bunch of em. Just didnt k ow how they react to a .40 goin through rounds at 6:30am. Plus I heard theys good eatin too. Heard they taste like chicken? Missed the beard last night.
