Starting to get the impression I've over proped my engine. Its a home built long tail 16hp, no governor, straight pipe running on a 12ft tinny. 2 guys and a little bit of gear I got 13mph at 2750 rpm and the prop is a 9x5 hill marine. Haven't gps by mysylf but that just felt laboured with 2. Thoughts......I'm sure its gone better than that before. |

Is the 16 hp a single cylinder or a vtwin? Most on here run a 8x4 on single cylinder 13 and 16 hp a 8x5. You can compare prop recommendations on Godevil and mudbuddy websites. |
