Im thinking about getting the new 25 gatortail for my 16'x42" aluminum skiff. How well do you guys think this motor willpush a boat this size, or do i need to upgrade to the 35, but i dont know if the boat can handle a 35 |

I have the same size boat with a 25hp, and it does great. With myself and one other person, no real load, we ran 28. This past weekend with 2 guys and fishing load, including trolling motor, extra battery, ice chests, etc., it ran 25. With three guys and hunting load with a boat blind it ran 22. Could it handle a 35? Maybe so, but I am happy with the 25. |
