 Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
http://www.explorebeavertail.com/surfacedrive.htmlThis is the first 40 Kohler I have found marketed. MB has talked about it but never put it out publically. How man will follow. Also, anyone seen these boys? http://www.crawdadmotors.com/index.html

Re: Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
Guess it does not have a reverse option.
Wonder how the aluminum frame will hold up?
Who is gonna buy one and give us a report? ,or if somebody on here has been secretly testing one lets hear about it

Re: Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
doubt its a MB or a GT, why would those two companys sell a motor they havent marketed to a BT first ? frame doesnt look like either one anyways.
Who knows though

On the 27 and 35 they performance cam. Wonder if they changed them, or ordered them like that or is it a sales catch?

Re: Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
If it is a copy of any of the others I would say it must have been MB since it does not have a reverse. Obviously they didn't bring any new technological improvements to the table

Re: Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
I wonder if Mark and his crew are involved or if this may be something that Otter Outdoors brought to the table.

Looks like a nice surface drive. If I had money to burn I would give one a try.

Re: Beavertail Markets 1st 40 Kohler
got to be Otter deal I think Mark is totally out of BT, just builds saltwater skiffs now. After looking closer at its not a GT or MB for sure.

If you look at the one pic Hizzy is running the rig. I think Hiz has been holding out on us. So Hiz whats your thoughts on this new contender?
