If yall were wondering why i was late on picking the winner of the photo contest I had a good reason. Just got back from Our Lady of Lourdes hospital. Had a scare last night and went in to make sure I'd wake up in the morning. I had some tightness / pressure in my throat as well as upper chest for about 2 weeks and finally decided I was scared enough to goto the ER. Got there at about 1am this morning and finally got to leave just a while ago. They had more shit hooked to me than an execution at Angola! All tests, EKG, chest x-ray and 3 cardiac ensymes came back ok. They said it was acid reflux and stress so I'll take that over a heart attack any day. Back in action! |

Good deal Tony. My pops had acod reflux bad but its corrected now with meds. It gave him fits. |

always better safe than sorry......my dad had an incident a couple years ago, he came in after mowing the lawn and felt tired and some tension, so he decided to go lay down. an hour later, he was still feeling bad and decided to go to the er. Normally, he is the type of guy that would just sleep at home and go in in the morning to get it checked out. but he went in that night and he had 100% blockage in his right ventrical aorta....... They went ahead and performed a stint while he was sedated for the tests and he has rehabed and is doing good. Docs said he would not have woke up if he had waited till morning. We are very lucky to have him today. And this all happened two days after we got back from 10 days in belieze. Thank god he didnt have the situation arise down there. Anyways, its always better to be safe than dead. Glad you checked out ok. |

Glad you are ok but that brings something else up. How do you know about all that stuff that is hooked up to someone at Angola? Have you gotten a reprieve from the Governor at the last moment? Also don't worry about the forum,, just leave it in the capable hands of DDM. lol Glad you made it out with just a scare. |
