 Fuel/water seperator?
Do any of you guys use a fuel/water seperate? I'm curious if the stock fuel pump can handle pulling gas through another filter.

 Re: Fuel/water seperator?
I don't use a primer. I installed everything with the thought if there is a problem I will add a primer. Fuel pump filled canister and pulls it no problem.

 Re: Fuel/water seperator?
Mine closer to the primer in the back of the boat with the fuel tank at the front. Works fine. What's the reason for having it up front with the tank?

 Re: Fuel/water seperator?
If there is water in fuel and the separator is in the back... If temps drop below freezing I have 18' of fuel line to thaw out vs. less than a foot.

 Re: Fuel/water seperator?
And how often y'all change the filter, assuming running every month, usual weekend huntn/fishn trips?

Yes. Racor filters on everything that floats.

 Re: Fuel/water seperator?
Honestly I've never thought about putting it up front. I like it on the transom, easy access. That's where I'll keep it.
