If I could afford air suspension id have it.. Procomp es 9000 and the step up from those are real good though.

Seems like my airbags make the ride worse, so when there not in use there deflated. And I only paid like 325-350$ for them and they were very easy to install

even if you run airbags you still need shock absorbers. any dual stage shock is going to be a upgrade from the stock junk. like said before call or email shock warehouse. they will set you up for sure.

I just changed the shocks/struts on my Expedition. Got the Monroe QuickStruts. Direct swap from Rock Auto. They are the cheapest. I just looked at the shock warehouse and the same struts are $50/ strut more.

I do suggest if you do the work yourself, if the F250 has coil overs shocks/struts, get the shock/strut/spring assembled. Then you don't have to worry about the sping. Also you get a matched set. Makes for quicker work.

I just put on a set of SkyJacker Hydro 7000's on my f-250. First set had over 70K and were only replaced due to the ball joints going bad and wanted to do eveything all at once.

I haven't replaced the shocks on my Duramax, but I did on my wife's jeep. I know it is comparing apples to oranges on a Jeep Wranger and a 3/4 ton. But here is my results.

It has a 4" lift and had Procrap ES 3000 shocks on it and it rode like a mule wagon. It would jar the fillings out of your teeth. The ride was way worse than my duramax. I switched to the Skyjacker softride Hydro's and they are awesome. Talk about night and day difference. Her jeep is a daily driver around town, but does get driven down trails and dirt roads. I ordered them online from one of those nationwide 4X4 places (cant remember the name). They where on sale for about $35 a piece with free shipping. That Jeep rides like a cadilac now, compared to those old shocks.

Not sure if they make shocks for big trucks, but Old Man Emu makes a very durable shock with a soft ride.

Just put the Skyjacker hydro 7000 on the Jeep, sweet ride. Planning on trying them on the Power Wagon.

Had Old Man Emu on my Toyota, they're sweet also.
