GoDevil passed the 25,000 motors sold mark about 2 years ago....
I'll look at a SN this weekend at the Houston Boat show and see what
number they are up to now.... Bet I don't see any GTRs there -

Any prostaffers, dealers or just anyone have an idea on how many gatortails are sold per year? How many mb per year? Prodrives per year? |

I'm just trying to find out (ballpark) are they sending out 5 motors per week or is it like 5 motors per day. |

id think Gator Tail is 2nd to MB related to sales. U can tell how many are sold each year by the serial numbers on the motors. |

My impression is gd and mb do more volume in total numbers, gt and pd sell motors to people that actually use them more (plenty of exceptions, don't get your panties in a wad. I'm referring to the 80/20 rule of thumb) Mb and gd have a market in the mainly "general public" (plenty of exceptions). Most people "in the know" that use these engines for work will own gt or pd (gd probably has a pretty large commercial market share as well) This topic had been done over and over, moral of the story there is not good data on who sells how many per day/week/month/year. GT currently produces between 600-1000 motors per year. Large quantity of those are going to Russia on work boats & Texas to replace GD's when owners wise up.  No doubt GD probably has the largest #s, as they're a very reliable long tail , & most common "name" on the market. This has a lot to do with them being on market for so long. |

Good friend of mine drives a freight truck that picks up at godevil and said sales are just to the few old fukers that owned one that has rusted to pieces

You noticed after the La. Sportmans show in Gonzales the waiting list went from 3 weeks to 12. Yea they sold that many boats!! |

i dont think it was the la sportsman show, maybe since its the "only" motor Phil and Troy would uses all them duck commandos' swamp city living people have to drive one to..... same reason you see a bunch of 2012 and 2013 GTR for sale. They dont catch any fish and kill any ducks like the TV shows |
