Now in stock! I ordered mine yesterday. They do not have the drill bit and tap but I didnt need it anyway. I will let them tell you the price. They also were finishing the tiller hand trim controls and said they'd be ready to ship next week. |

I thought it was funny. What do you need to drill and tap something? A drill and a tap. ![]() To answer your question: Go find pictures of the trailering bracket- it will be self explanatory when you see it. There are at least 2 threads on here that come to mind that show it; one of these is DDM's rig. To try to explain: The bracket itself is just flat stock bent in a "U" to saddle the belt housing. What has to be drilled and tapped is the GTR's main mount or "clamp" that tightens down to the transom. You drill a hole in each side of the plates at the back and thread in a tapered pin on each side (kind of like a pin on a three point hitch) and then the bracket slides over the pins and pins in with lynch pins. You trim tight against the bracket and no-mo-movement. |
