Well I thought I would post a few pics. I know these boats are not the size many of you like or use but they are what we use and like up here and on some of the big waters. I also know you are all not fans of the brand but again we like em. The 2060 with all aluminum trailer is mine my buddies boat is a 1872 with painted galvanized trailer both double axle trailers. both stock 36 PD, FPR and PT. I have more pictures of his boat because we forgot to switch cameras before we left the dock. He is on here too and will likely post pics. I won't post speed because you won't believe me anyway. We are excited to be able to get to many places that previously we only dreamed of. Looking forward to a fun and productive fall. |

I don't think anyone has a issue with the boat at all. Only one ever given much type was that ugly azz hull Willet bought. Yall get a good deal on a good hull up there. Same for us, why would anyone close not buy a real LA mud hull.....so we just don't give them any thought. |

I've had that ugly azz hull Willet bought for about 3 months now. i used a jack and pressed the floor back flat and have been runnin the guts out of it. it might not be pretty, but it sure performs! Ended up cutting out the c channel and welding 2x2 tubing back in to keep it flat. Since I 'm used to a much bigger hull, this thing seems like a rocket! Husker, we need to hook up after early season and fix those fenders I f@#ked up! Its the only thing I notice when I look at the pictures!!! |

Ruddyduck, that is fine with me. The only days I got is the 13, 26 of this month. We are hunting early seasons and other state openers every other weekend. Once October hits there are no weekends until February. Might have to reinforce the front too I ran her on pretty hard last weekend, just flatten that top part. |

post up some speeds b/c i thought about going to 20' instead of 18. mine ran 27 with a 19 gal tank up front so I would not be suprised of what it runs unless you tell me 35mph. |

Post subject: | Re: New to this |
so the latter post makes his first one that he started the thread with null and void? now that everyone has ribbed him enough about he is going to get the speeds that he "knows we won't believe anyway", he obviously has some speeds that he has seen in the boat other wise he wouldnt have made that dumbass comment. or maybe since he has the 25 years of boating experience, he could feel how fast the boat was going and knew no one would believe him. here is some more rolling eyes for you ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I simply meant that is comparable to other boats I have been in and knew the speeds of. I don't think it matters what ya write on here ya get messed with. I simply do not want to piss people off so that if the day comes I really do need help with an issue I would get quality responses instead of told where to go in the first thread. |

your not going to piss people of by posting the speeds of your new boat and how it performed. but you will piss people of by saying you know we won't believe you. that is all. |

Well we got the big boat(1872) stuck in the mud today. Lost momentum fast when it hits two logs when going through mud. 45 minutes later and FPR on my boat and pushing by i8bambi it was out. Thought we would go and get some speeds on the GPS as we were now soaking wet from sweat and needed to cool off. Plugged in tom tom nearly had a fire fire. Melted the the friggin tom tom plug in. AWESOME So we decided it was a good time to go sit on a sandbar and have lunch and let the dogs run before we did some real damage. On a good note, we did see a ton of ducks and geese with early season a coupe weeks away. |

I can't post official speeds as I melted the cord to the GPS. I will post some when I get some speeds from gps. Might not be for a few days. |

Husker, you got teal birds up there? We had a couple shoots then they bugged out. Corp of engineers is keeping the river super low to build a man made island in peoria and the places we ran are dry. ![]() |

I might get down on Friday and do a bit of scouting and fishing before the opener. I looked on riverguages this morning and it looks like the water or down quite a bit. Brian |
