Looks like cast. Who's kit did it come with or did you buy it from someone?

Post subject:  Re: And another one bites the dust

I'm sure it's not cast

Why don't you take yours off and get someone to make you one out of carbon steel? Or stainless so it won't rust?

I noticed mine was broke last week. Not as bad as yours but its broke, probably because I seem to hit every stump in North America.

Kinda hard to tell from the pic, but honestly it doesnt look like its installed correctly. I put 200 hours on mine with a PD running the same territory as BB.

It's machined out if 6061 billet aluminum. Not cast. And for some reason (for the second time) , you choose to blast a product that is probably incorrectly installed (for the second time), instead of returning my email. I can GUARANTEE you have it in a bind by not putting the correct spacers where they go. I even GAVE you a FREE one to replace the last one you screwed up with a grinder. You're on you're own now buddy. I've sold too many of these with very few (in the single digits) that have cracked. I'm thinking its the 'Indian not the arrow'
Cheers,
Rod

Well you can't ship too many out for free!! Sounded like you tried to help this guy as much as you could without installing it yourself!!

Just a question....... Do you give the buyers of your products a detailed picture of how to install it? Sounds like you haven't had much trouble out of them but might be an idea!

There is complete, detailed instructions with pics for those who cant read in the MMT store right next to the product.

Just make sure it's installed square this time so there is even pressure. Installed correctly they can take a beating. I broke the foot off my PD twice, but never had an issue with the carb bracket.

We run the same shit as crawfishermen cause alot of ppl crawfish on our lease ask gtr 18x48 he runs our lease for crawfish when water is high and it's bad. So just think when it's no water and straight stumps

Post subject:  Re: And another one bites the dust

I just read another thread about the same guy that made this one . There has to be a point when you break so many things maybe it's not the parts fault. maybe the driver? A gatortail isn't bullet proof nor is any other mud motor . You have to learn the limits of it and if he is running wide open threw stumps that he knows is there is that really someone's fault for parts breaking? Just something to think about.
