27 GD SD , 16x44 GD original boat

 27 GD SD , 16x44 GD original boat Guys,
just found this site, what kinda performance should I be getting out of this rig. It does fine with 1 or 2 guys, but put 3 or 4 and i think it only does 10-11 mph. I had a 25 longtail on it for years, and don't remember it being this sensitive to load. The SD is much faster unloaded but is an absolute dog under a load. What should/ can I do?

Re: 27 GD SD , 16x44 GD original boat Sounds like ya need a bigger rig all together. Carrying 4 guys in a lil 16 foot boat aint gonna run with 27 hp.

Re: 27 GD SD , 16x44 GD original boat hay u ever changed out the water loged fom in it?? what rpm u getting out of it and were is the 3 guy sitting at make shoure hes as close to the middle of the boat if hes out front it going to boog u down

Re: 27 GD SD , 16x44 GD original boat I get 3800 rpm with me a pirogue and dekes. With 4 guys was only getting 2400 rpm. I have not changed the foam, what is the best way to get into that front compartment? How do I set the rpms/
