So a buddy and I headed over to the pearl river WMA today to look for some pigs. I've been off all week and figured I needed to drink some beer. Just cruising down the middle river and BOOM a blade on my prop sheers off! And before all the GDSD bullshit know this, the boat was free. |

Yeah it shook like a SOB. Worried it f'ed the bearing up honestly. It was about a 4 mile crawl back to the launch. Didn't hit anything honestly. I just heard a loud ding and it started shaking and pull it up and saw it missing. |

I was definitely in deeper water and the rivers were moving pretty good today. The boat didn't bump anything and the motor didn't either. |

Man that sucks. Not to change subjects on ya, but I'm originally from ponchatoula, how's the hunting in pearl river after theses dc assholes. I went to maurpas this year, and could not believe how many boats were there. Moved in 2007 and only hunted back home once, thought about trying pearl river wma this year, as my dad lives in Folsom. Cruising down the canal, hit something that wasn't really bad and it slung. Shook HORRIBLY. Hit a lot of stuff hard that morning, figured it was cracked from other impacts. It was pro-rated due to it being a fairly new prop, I think it cost $50 for a new one. |

ill be in hammond on monday night or early tuesday morning. i have a used but still very good prop i will let go for a very fair price. |

Casting issue. That prop was doomed to fail from day 1. |
