Wonder what kind of rig they have... We have STA's here in FL. They only allow hunts twice a week and it's basically a Disney style duck shoot. I've never been and don't want to, but here are some typicals from what I hear: |

I consider it validation to my abilities as a hunter when I can shoot birds on the water. Means my deeks and calling were right! (Or the birds were wrong!) I ain't bashful. I will let a bird land everyday of the week, slip my barrel through the brush and hope to get two to line up! Sent using Morse Code from my not so smart phone. |

It's terrible up here too. Since the start of the first phase on a lake that I've consistently limited out on for years all season long, I've killed one Pintail, two teal, and some woodrows and the lake looks the best it has in years. Been having to travel down your way every chance I can to get on'm good. I don't know anyone that hunts around here that isn't having to travel at least an hour or two to get on birds. |

I live on Istakpoga and travel to lake O to shoot a few teal. hopping the bluebills will at least show up. The STA's are plug loaded and their offspring will return to the STA's. It ain't over tell its over...over |
