Anyone have a 2013 1854 CC PD Gen 3 LU with EFI? If so, I was wondering what kind of speeds you are getting. I average typically 24-25mph consistently. Thought I would get more speed out of the rig than what I am seeing. |

What load you have in the boat? I would think empty you should be in the 27-28 range, and with 2-3 people and gear about 24-25... |

I guess that could be the problem. I've never really ran it light. I am usually with 10-12 gal of gas, troll motor, 2 batteries, and my bench seat. Still think I should be moving more than 24-25 |

That is still considered light. 2/3 people is when it should start slowing down. |

I think that is a light load too. That's why I think I should be going faster. With a heavy load, I am still doing 22-23, not much slower. Just thought with new LU, 3 blade prop, EFI, etc that I would be going better than that. |

I assume you have one of the first g3 Lu's with the original prop? |

I talked to Kp last week and with their latest prop improvements, they had a 1754 center console at 30+ with a stock motor (not including efi). |

I do have the original 3 blade prop that came with the lower unit. Is there a newer 3 blade that I don't know about? I also have the newer skeg with the larger opening for lilies, mud, etc. This is running at 4400-4500 rpm |

I run 4600-4700 with a light load and 4500-4600 with a load may be diffrent for you but might wanna give it a try |

Is there a big difference in vibration switching over to the 3 blade from the 2? |

I have the gen 3 with 3 blade but no efi and I run 27 at 43-4400 rpms with just myself and that's on a 17x48 x series pd boat 17x48 xseries 36hp Pro-Drive |
