Guys on Florida water fowler would probably yield better answers if you don't get any here. |

I live and fish Mosquito lagoon and was about to purchase a GT with a GTR 35 for my main rig. After lots of pondering I realized that most of the area is really hard sand and oysters where I go and a surface drive would not make much since. I bought a gheenoe for my fishing boat and duck hunted out of it this year in Monroe and Jessup, now I am looking to get a Longtail for the back of the boat and switch motors around during seasons. I know nothing about MM motors, but there are so many guys on here that helped me out pointing me in the right direction. Even though its a MMT site most thought that an outboard rig would be better where I fished. My boat drafts real shallow and I can pole it anywhere. |

16 super skiff ?? I do believe weight will play a big part in this the only skiff I believe that may be able to handle the weight is a hb whipray classic the original hull . It's wide as a mofo in the back compared to my glades skiff ... Ever heard of skull island skiffs ? |

Lamar told me the IPB 16 didn't work well with a surface drive. Also they are now part of Bonefish Boatworks and are over by Tampa now. |
