 1448 MV 18hp copperhead
I have and older 1448 polar kraft mod v that weighs about 220lbs. How will an 18hp copperhead do on it?

My first boat was a 1448 alweld and I had a 35GTR on it and it flew. I am sure with a 18 it will go well also but when you will load the boat down it will plow.

 Re: 1448 MV 18hp copperhead
I run an 18hp copperhead on an old 14/48 monark. Not sure what kind of load your pushing. With 2 guys and light gear I run 24 mph. 3 guys and full hunt load about 18 mph. I'm considering selling it. Give me a call 361-798-3986. I think the 18 is perfect for 3 guys and light gear
