As much as you can afford is a good rule of thumb. That being said, I have a Diehard 700cca that I am going to run on my new rig. Will probably end up storing a motorcycle or lawnmower battery in the boat just in case since I will be running a single battery for starting and accessories. |

I have a 27 series with 835cca I like the bigger battery so I can run the radio all day while we're fishing and not worry about if its gonna crank up at the end of the day |

Optimas are horrible! When they started making them in Mexico a few years back, QC fell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I had interstate in my dual rig. They lasted 2 years. I think that is pretty good considering all the shit I run off them. They are shot now but I'm putting same kind back in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
