I am in need of a winch anchor for my 1854 PD. What do you recommend? and where can I buy them.

 Re: Winch anchor
Dang, Poker! Your right. I baught that winch-out at a huntin show, and was so proud , I went and got stuck, just to try it out. Now as soon as these tornado warnings ease up,I`m going out and harvest about $70 bucks worth of winch-outs. Yeah, I think that trailer anchor is the way to go.With some modifications of course.

 Re: Winch anchor
Hell thats some old pics when i gave a schit, if you think thats junk you oughta see the new one I'm building now! Plus its made of the only thing i had around polished lead. just the weight alone would slow you down 27.7 mph !!!!! you have to throw it out your boat to get unstuck and alot of the time you'll be floating again as soon as you do!
