Post subject:  18x48 skiff (36PD) Reviews?

Getting an 18x48 skiff built, 3/16 Bottom, 1/8 sides. I'm putting my 36hp Pro-Drive on the back an i'm looking for some reviews on this kinda rig. Thanks

My 1848 skiff ran around 27-28 mph light load. Stock motor.

Might see better speeds with a GTR, not too sure though.

B, depends on how the skiff is built too. I'm basing those speeds off mine with tall sides, catwalks, and more bracing than normal. I never fool with the trim tabs or moving weight around to find the best speeds. Those are honest deep water speeds.

Its going to be an open 18x48 skiff, With vertical ribs, false double bottom and around an 18gal fuel tank. Rick Aucoin is building it.
