No rear boxes at all. They just get in the way. Cooler or movable seat bases are the way to go |

X2.... Open hull.... put your gun box in front deck.....movable seat bases are awesome... and will help to balance load in boat.... |

i put one on my drivers box for my tempress nav seat and it works good... id suggest installing yourself so you can get placement right. mine landed perfect for driving and just far enough forward to turn towards me while im in the seat. also if you cant find one with a closed post hole find a rubber furniture leg end to keep water out your box. |

Open hull all the way! USe the removable seat bases like Willett makes or make a removable box (cube) that has a lid on it for storage. |

I prefer a box in the back, as long as I have a boat cusion, dont need the full seat. If you do prefer a seat, positioning matters most, or you'll hate it. Thats why movable bases are better in many cases. Having a base on yhe passenger side wont help, cause you likely thatwont ever want someone else that far back in the boat. |

Why would you ever have to remove a small drivers box? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

I took it out of my old pd.... it was a bolt on small drivers box and when I stood and drove, it was right where I was comfortable standing.... With my seat base in the new hull I can sit a drive and when I get to the parts of the bayou that has a lot of turns I stand up and move seat out of my way....I move around a lot to shift my weight to grab an edge on the turns.... If I stay on the high side it will flatten hull and slide. |

I've had a PD, and that drivers box is not small. ![]() |
