gonna vary depending on your boat and transom...but whatever pin it runs best on make sure you have a removable pin so you can drop all the way down if necessary, this has gotten me out of a bind many times |

So factory pin on bottom hole and 'removable' on desired hole? Just askin because i nwver understood it the holes made that much of a diference? Bout to make a makeshift pin. Can someone measure the width of the transom mount? So i can drill a hole for cotter? Thanks! |

The 4th hole added was out lower than the previous ones so new models go extra low. And in mud pin location helps drastically it allow u to trim much lower |

Can some one put up a pic of this pin thing I don't understand how this works. Do you need to pull a pin out when you need to trim the motor ? Or is it to hold the motor up after you trim? What is this pin for? |
