Well this was a first for me so I thought I'd share with yall. Me and two buddies were frogging last night and weren't seeing very many. We continued to idle along the bank where we saw a small cut with about 8-10 baby gators. No more than 30 yards down he bank we come to clearing in the mats of grass, water is 2 foot deep at most. All of a sudden my two buddies see something in the water in front of us. They first thought it was a log, but Quickly realized it was the mama gator who was atleast 9 feet long laying on the bottom. I'm sitting on a swivel seat driving the gtr in the back and as we continue to idle forward, I'm looking straight on top of her and have to admit it scared the sh!t outta me!!! I was amazed and very thankful that she didn't move a muscle as we idled right over her head. Anyone else had this happen to them? |

She aint gunna flip the boat over or anything, why you gettin scared? We hemmed about a 7' up between the boat and the bank one night frogging, after about the third whack with a boat paddle she decided to go underneath the boat in 1' or less of water. That is a hellacious sound. |
