On the GDSD - steering feels no different from the 2 to the 3 blade to me.... 3 blade is stronger out of the hole and in the mud - bit less vibration - and when it gets some significant wear the 3 blade has more lift than the 2 so prop "blow out" is a tell tale when you need a new one.... On my rig which is small and light the 2 blade is just slightly faster solo - but most larger heavier rigs say they see the best speed with the 3 blade... I believe it is the GD 3 blade or a variation of it that is now in use by the smaller PD MMs - so performance might be similar for them too.... A guy in my area likes it for his older 25 PD on a Gator Trax - said he got a bit more speed with loads and better holeshots.... |

3-blade is awesome for getting up quick. Ive never ran a 2-balde but heard 2 blades do run faster. 3-blade runs better with large loads |
