I need to be able to trim up a little higher due to the fact I have a 20 degree transom with a PD. I have only had the problem a couple of times really loaded down but I can trim down way more than I would ever really need to.

I was told there is a larger roller (not sure thats the right name) that I can use with the hydraulic trim to accomplish this. Basically I need a piece of rubber tubing to replace or slide over my existing roller. I will probably just order one from PD since I'm lazy but I wanted to know if this was something readily available at a hardware store and what size. I can't remember what I was told, so I figured I would ask. Has anyone done this easily in order to change the trim angles? Thanks.

you could use a shim or wedge on the transom

I don't think you can do this with the hydraulic trim. The arms that connect the roller to the hydraulic ram are different than on the manual trim. Basically, the new arms take the extra play out, so that you have the full range of motion with the hydro trim. If you had a larger hose or a spacer, you would not be able to get it to fit around the current hose/roller.

I'll have to look at it when I get home. I'm just going by what PD told me. Maybe I wasn't clear enough with them but I thought we were on the same page.
