Finally getting to come to God's country to do some Redfishing and Bowfishing. I will be there around the 16th of Sept. What tackle do I need for a Reds this time of year?

Really depends on where you will be fishing as far as tackle goes. In the marsh nothing beats a gold spoon or a chartreuse jig head with a black cocahoe with a chartreuse tail and gold spinner. In the bays and lakes. I suggest live bait. Live shrimp or very small mullets. But to be honest if the tide is working in your favor you could throw just about anything and get hit. Good luck. Hope you get to rip some lips

If you got about 2.5-3' of water with clean banks a gold 1/4oz. Rattle trap is good . Baby minus 1's are good also.

Navioncs GPS app has tides. However I go to rodnreel .com and use their charts most of the time. The most important thing is tide movement. Depending on the area incoming or outgoing may be better.

Don't worry about the tides if you've only have a couple days to fish. Just go fishing. You'll just stress yourself out for no reason.

Not so much high tide. But a good tide range.

Depending on where you're at, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get a few folks together
