Did anybody ever change the seal that the screw driver is pointing to?? It is leaking oil like crazy and I don't won't to bring it to gator tail cause no telling how long they would take

I have never changed one but I don't think it will be too hard to do. I have seen on hear others had it leaking before and put thick gear oil in it to get by until it you get it fixed. I bet gatortail won't take as long to fix it as you think. I would give them a call and find out, I bet they can fix it same day in less than an hour.

This may be what is leaking on mine. I thought it was coming from the caliper but this would make sense. Going to have to pull the cover and take a closer look. If you do make the repair yourself taking pictures and posting the process for us non mechanic guys would be a big help.

Pull the planetary apart, take out the retainer ring, pull the old seal out and drive the new one in. Easy work.

I would have a new seal on hand before you pull the old one apart. I would bet it will be hard to find local without having it special ordered. Probably be faster to get through Gatortail.

Well I have a part number already to a place that carrys the seal.a dude gave it to me cause he done changed his twice
