That's about all we've been shooting up here the past 3 weeks. Drakes are great looking birds for the wall but they are some nasty sum bitches for table fare.

I just looked up some pics of hen golden eye they have a white patch on there cheek and there bill has some yellow/gold on the tip

Immature drakes have the white patch and will look like a hen. Hens dont have a white patch on the head and not all of them have very defined yellow tips on the bill.

A lot more this year than i have seen in a while. Good shoot, never seen one fly like a teal tho.
