Can some of you who run them please post up some pics of the layout? Im trying to decide what boat and I think I have it narrowed down to a Gator Trax w/ huntdeck or a Prodrive but just trying to get some better looks of the PD and the extras you can add

i can tell you this no matter what the next boat i get will be as wide open as i can either with flotation or without it will be open! that way i can customize it to my liking. i make everything removable on mine because i switch from bowfishing to fishing to hunting and sometimes when i hunt i just want the open boat for hauling gear or im actually hunting out of the boat so personally i would go as wide open as you can. except for flotaion that can be a lifesaver.... i will make that choice when the time comes. currently im real good at swimming so no flotation is what im leaning for right now but i could use that extra insurance

On this Tuesday a friend of mine was hunting on a local lake. He tried to motor into some bushes to help hide the boat. The bushes lifted the front of the boat higher than he throught it would. The back went under and the boat sunk to the bottom of 20 ft water in about 10 secs, the boat did not have floatation. He was in the water for around three hours. The decoy bag and a paddle floated to the surface. He got on these and paddled out. He also most died. His boat and 2008 36hp PD are setting at the bottom of the lake today. The boat I have now has floatation the next one will to.

Just my .02

I HAVE AN 17X60 PD. I hunt and fish and bowfishout of it, and with that known leave it as open as possible. I have the deck extention to hide and cover gas tank and trolling motor battery, trolling motor bracket and wiring, and 4 seat bases(and could use a couple more). With the movealble seat and storage up front it has everything I need. Good luck making choices but get everything u want(orthink you want).

1754 PD with center console and no floatation. I try to stay in shallow water and run just fine with a 36 PD.
