Hello guys. Been awhile. Got a 35 with mikuni and exhaust. It wasn't getting enough fuel and back firin through the carb the other morning hunting. Figured it was my fuel line and by passed all of it and had a foot of line straight to the pump from the tank. Fuel filter won't stayed full and won't run unless I feed it starting fluid. Sounds like a fuel pump to me. 180 hours on it stock pump. |

Why would it backfire if it couldn't get fuel? Had it been running fine? |

Ran fine about 6 hours before. Backfiring through the intake is a indication of the motor running lean |

Running lean is different than starving for fuel. Will it run if you keep pumping the bulb? |

doesn't have one. When I ran it Wednesday morning I could limp it along and actually got it to run to the spot. but It would be running terribly and bogging and backfiring through the intake. like its not getting enough fuel. |
