Anyone put one on there gas line ? I'm in MN and when it's cold in the morning my motor takes a while to start. Thanks |

Yeh, quite a few of us have them. I like mine placed where the bulb is on the floor so I can pump it with my foot if needed if the fuel pump went out. |

I have one in the boat for emergency with a length of fuel line and some clamps. I had trouble with them leaking (this is a low pressure fuel system and any air leak can cause trouble). I have run my motor without one for 160+ hours but its much warmer down here. Are you sure the fuel is causing the hard cold start? You may try hitting the throttle a few times before starting with choke. |
