Lol I had a guy at work tell me his friends brothers cousins sister in laws uncle daddy had a 23 longtail that was getting 32mph. All stock non the less. My response was " Ohh you dont say?"

I don't know if this guy is for real or not but I can say that my boat does hit 38 in skinny water. When I was at SETX they had a lot of people that saw me run. Before I showed up they thought it was BS also till I left them behind.

I find only pick up maybe 1 mph with a light boat in shallow water. Now when I'm loaded down I'll see 3-4 mph gain but I only get back to my empty speed .

My boat only goes 32 empty but I'll take that from the tank lol. My buddy tried telling me his boat goes 40 lol it's a 25 Subaru GTR pushing an 17ft alweld lol.

To slide that far you had to be haulin.. I ran with Gary two days in a row, his boat was moving. Everything seems fast in a 25 but when you see a boat scoot past the 35s in front of you before the next turn it's hard to argue with whatever speed he says he goes. I didn't see any of the boats there want to call him out lol.
