He just sold that fine ass skiff he built for himself. You going with a bateau or a skiff? Either way, he'll make you one happy customer.

Sounds like one hell of a set up. Having issues with your mad man? Or are you just trying something a little different?

No problems with the mad man I love the boat butch built. I wish I would have done some different things as yall can tell in my previous post lol. I came across rickey's page on fb and his work looks amazing and he got a great reputation. Want to check him out before I make up my mind on the builder. Will deff between him and butch. But as yall can tell I'm going all out on this next build and I don't plan on getting another boat for a very long time, if ever lol

Post subject:  Re: Ricky aucoin boats

I wasn't trying to be a dick, im just curious. Like I said im pretty dead set on having rickey build me a boat and am just still doing all the research I can. Pretty sure im gonna have a 19x50 built or maybe 20x48. Im gonna ask rickey what he thinks about the differences as far as cost/stability/maneuverability. Pretty positive im going 3/16 too. Do you have any dents on the 1/8 bottom? Is your current boat stable as far as running around inside it when frogging or running lines

Post subject:  Re: Ricky aucoin boats

Yeah I hear ya. Whatever size I have built, im definitely gonna ask him to flare it out good and have the rake come up kinda high so it will hopefully ride good and dry. Not to mention I think it looks nice. Im going to have to sit down and talk in person and decide on all the details about size an whatnot
