Pirogue hunters?

 Pirogue hunters?Who all uses one to hunt and fish ? Looking at trying to build one myself to sneak into 1 maybe 2 of my spots.

Re: Pirogue hunters? They have their place, for sure. Never built one (and never will), but have used one some for hunting and fishing. I actually prefer a kayak.

Re: Pirogue hunters? I use an old glass 12ft fin & feather some. Killed a lot of ducks out of it last year.

Re: Pirogue hunters? I use a 14' fiberglass resin hull , won't sink , flotation in seat bases , light as hell, it's actually loaded for tomorrow's hunt. Mostly use it at just a few spots . I have another kayak style I redid that use mainly as a layout hull.
