| Post subject: | Pirogue hunters? |
Who all uses one to hunt and fish ? Looking at trying to build one myself to sneak into 1 maybe 2 of my spots. Any advice from people who have ? Any pictures from someone who has built one? |

They have their place, for sure. Never built one (and never will), but have used one some for hunting and fishing. I actually prefer a kayak. |

I use an old glass 12ft fin & feather some. Killed a lot of ducks out of it last year. |

I use a 14' fiberglass resin hull , won't sink , flotation in seat bases , light as hell, it's actually loaded for tomorrow's hunt. Mostly use it at just a few spots . I have another kayak style I redid that use mainly as a layout hull. H Finn |
